Two new printers are now available and supported by both Novax 2020 and Novax LEDA
These are compatible with meter firmware versions 1104 and higher (released Feb. 2004. All Novax 2020s and Novax LEDAs are upgradeable to this release.

The Novax Leda has the ability to process and store payment card transactions in a similar manner to the Novax 2020 storing up to 120 records in its internal data log. As there is only one serial port on the LEDA, cables require swapping to transfer the data from the meter to the base.

The Novax 2020, having two serial ports can drive either printer and utilise the swipe reader without compromising the communications on port 1. This allows connection to a wireless-network for transferring 'live' transactions and supporting dispatch terminal functionality. The printer/ swipe reader and GPS receiver operation is unaffected.
